Having been a keen photographer all my life I decided in 2002 that I wanted to raise my standard and prove that I had the level of photographic skills that I believe a professional photographer should have.

I submitted a portfolio of images for BIPP and MPA assessment in February 2003 and was awarded a Licentiateship of the British Institute of Professional Photography.

I maintain my standards by undertaking training with some of the country's top wedding photographers to keep up to date with modern trends whilst not forgetting the more traditional styles.

Contemporary Photography is about a modern fresh style of image that should reflect the fun of the day.

Reportage Photography has its roots in news photography and recording what actually happens. For many couples it is often a chance to see many of their day's events for the first time.

Traditional or Classical Photography is about capturing those family groups.

A more recent development is Editorial where the images are composed by the photographer so that they look like images in the latest fashion magazine.
